Amazon.com Product Description Help teach your child to tell time with the Timex T89022 Time Teacher watch, which features labeled and color-differentiated hour and minute hands and a color differentiated dial with "to" and "past" markings. This quartz analog watch features a small flower that rotates around the dial with the hands and a comfortable elastic fabric strap (for better dirt and stain resistance) with pink flowers against a purple base. This watch also offers water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet), durable purple resin case, and Timex's unique Kids Loss Protection Plan. It's recommended for children ages 6 and older. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. Timex understands that kids often lose things, even their most prized possessions, which is why this watch is covered by the Timex Kids Loss Protection Plan. If the watch is lost, Timex will replace it with the same style (or similar if your style is not available) at the price of $10 for up to one year from the original date of purchase, with no questions asked. Details are included in the printed instructions that come with the watch.
Product Description This Timex Watch (but not any battery, crystal, band, or strap) is warranted to the owner for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase against defects in manufacture by Timex Corporation. Timex will not repair defects relating to servicing not performed by Timex Corporation. This limited warranty applies to US Customers.

Excellent time piece December 1, 2003 Happy Mom (Jamaica) 34 out of 34 found this review helpful
Hi, I will recommend this timepiece to any child....It's easy to read because a child will easily read the time correctly with all the instructions on the face of the watch. My young daughter loves it. Unfortunately, one was taken from her without her knowing, so here I am buying another. It is REALLY a time teacher!!! It's also durable and attractive to look at which are pluses... When the band is dirty, just remove it and wash - it looks as good as new!
Child is enthusiastic! January 13, 2004 rtistelle (Denver area) 24 out of 24 found this review helpful
This made a GREAT gift for a 6 year old. It is colorful (flowery)and stylish (purple and pink are her fav colors). She was quite excited and didn't want to take it off for night. By the end of the first day, she was telling correct time. It is simple to explain! I'd highly recommend this for any young elementary age female child.
Great Watch for a Young Girl September 17, 2009 C. Gruver (TX USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We gave this watch to our six-year-old girl once she had learned how to tell time. For about two weeks, she would not take it off except at bath time (it is waterproof). The wristband is easy to operate and has been dependable for us so far (we have had it for about a month); the band will loosen over time, so we do need to cinch it up occasionally. The watch is attractive and keeps time accurately. It ticks softly every second, which I think is a good way of learning about the passage of time. There is a little flower that moves with the second hand -- very cute. There are two rows of numbers around the watch -- one set of the 1 to 12 numbers and also an outer set of 5 to 60 (by fives). This second set of numbers is what makes it so helpful for 'watch learners.' I highly recommend it!
Great; Colorful November 1, 2009 C. Allen (Montana) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This watch was purchased for a grand-daughter. The things I like best are, it is a 'teacher' watch. Young children can learn actual time easier with this watch. Things are written on the hands to help them. The band is also adjustable which makes it nice for small wrists, and the price was right for a first watch.
Stretch band watch October 6, 2008 C3N (Vermont) Great watch for kids and adults alike. As a school volunteer, I find the kids love checking out my watch. I also have skin allergies and these bands are AWESOME!
