Amazon.com Product Description The Timex T89042 Youth watch is reliable, durable, and readable in the dark, thanks to the integrated Indiglo night-light, but it's also flat-out fun to wear. This quartz analog watch features an easily readable, full Arabic numeral display and smaller 5-minute notations on the outside of the dial. It also has a small butterfly that rotates around the dial with the hands, and a comfortable elastic fabric strap (for better dirt and stain resistance) with pink, yellow and blue hearts and butterflies against an indigo base. This watch also offers water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet), durable bright fuschia resin case, different colored hour and minute hands, and Timex's unique Kids Loss Protection Plan. It's recommended for children ages 6 and older. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. Timex understands that kids often lose things, even their most prized possessions, which is why this watch is covered by the Timex Kids Loss Protection Plan. If the watch is lost, Timex will replace it with the same style (or similar if your style is not available) at the price of $10 for up to one year from the original date of purchase, with no questions asked. Details are included in the printed instructions that come with the watch.
Product Description This Timex Watch (but not any battery, crystal, band, or strap) is warranted to the owner for a period of ONE YEAR from the date of purchase against defects in manufacture by Timex Corporation. Timex will not repair defects relating to servicing not performed by Timex Corporation. This limited warranty applies to US Customers.

Great for kids! November 13, 2007 Grandma (Santa Rosa, CA USA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
These watches are wonderful for children learning the nuance of time. There are small numbers at the edges reminding them that if the big hand is at 10, it is 50 minutes after the hour, etc. They are comfortable, and inexpensive enough that the kids can wear them to school without worry. They are NOT water proof, so need to be taken off before showering or swimming, but can endure almost all other activities. My granddaughters wear theirs always and I believe it helped them to learn time quickly and painlessly. The batteries are long lasting. They come in a wide variety of patterns and colors for both girls and boys. You really can't go wrong with these watches.

These watches are just as cute as they look in the ad. This is 1 of 3 I bought for Christmas. All 3 girls really like them. No one has had any trouble with them.

My girls love them. The face of the watch is clear and easy to see. They also like that it lights up.
5-year-old's delight January 8, 2008 Gertrude S. Nelson (Chicago) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My five year old granddaughter is delighted to have this watch. We'll see if she'll learn to tell time.

Timex Kids' Color Indiglo Hearts Stretch Band Watch #T7B111 - I have been wearing these kids' watches during the summer for several years. They are inexpensive and have cloth straps, so when the straps wear out, I feel no regret about tossing them and buying replacements. I got several in different colors to coordinate with my wardrobe. When the weather cools off, I put them away until next summer. They've been very reliable and easy and cheap to get the batteries repaired, including at Wal-Mart.
